Terms of Use

1. Not financial, tax or legal advice

Scores, projections, tax estimates, survival runway, payoff timelines and similar figures are informational estimates derived from the data you enter and from published rates that can change. They will not match your actual bank, lender, fund house or tax filing. Verify anything that matters with your bank, a qualified chartered accountant or a SEBI-registered adviser before you act on it. You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.
• You may use most of the app with no account. Sign-in is required for cloud backup, Pro and lending invitations.
• Keep your credentials and device secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account is for one person. Do not share it.

3. Your data and your responsibility to keep a copy

Perovo is local-first: your data lives on your device. If you uninstall the app, wipe the device, clear app storage, or lose the device without cloud backup enabled, that data is gone and we cannot recover it. Cloud backup is optional and available on Pro. Export a copy regularly from Profile → Backup & data.

4. Lending records and agreement documents

The lending features help you record informal loans between people and generate a loan-agreement style document from what you entered. These are convenience templates, not legal advice and not a guarantee of enforceability. Stamp duty, registration, witnessing and formatting requirements vary by state and by amount. Have a lawyer review any document you intend to rely on.

Perovo is not a party to, guarantor of, or collection agent for any loan you record. The document integrity hash tells you whether a document's text still matches what was sealed — it is a tamper check, not a legal certification, and it is not a digital signature under the IT Act.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use Perovo for anything unlawful, including money lending in breach of applicable law, harassment of a borrower, or laundering.
• Do not enter another person's data without their knowledge, or use lending invitations to spam.
• Do not attempt to break, probe or overload our systems, or to access another account's data. Responsible security reports are welcome — see the security policy.
• Do not decompile or redistribute the app or its release files as your own.

6. Free and Pro plans

• The free plan is usable indefinitely, with limits on some features.
• Pro is a paid subscription billed through Razorpay. Prices are shown in the app in Indian rupees and include taxes where applicable.
• Pro unlocks cloud backup and additional tools. Feature sets may change as the product evolves; we will not remove a paid feature without notice in the changelog.
• Cancellation and refunds are described in the refund policy.

7. Software distribution and beta status

Perovo is in closed beta. The Android build offered on this site is a sideload debug build, not a Play Store release — you install it at your own discretion after enabling installation from unknown sources. Expect bugs, and expect the app to update itself over the air. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

8. Availability and no warranty

The app and the optional cloud service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation is accurate for your situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perovo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, missed payments, tax penalties or investment losses arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You may stop using Perovo and delete your account at any time from Profile → Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the app unlawfully. On account deletion, cloud data is removed within 30 days as described in the privacy policy.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in India having jurisdiction. If we change these terms materially we will update the effective date and note it in the changelog; continuing to use the app means you accept the change.
